10 Microneedling Aftercare Tips to Achieve Glowing Skin

young woman touching her skin

So, you just received a microneedling facial. Your face looks a little bit red and sensitive, but other than that, you’re feeling great. Now what? Is there a microneedling aftercare routine you need to look into to take care of your healing skin?

Since microneedling is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure, you can go about the rest of your day without much need for concern.

HOWEVER, there are a few important tips we recommend you follow after you receive your microneedling treatment to help your skin look and feel healthy in the long run.

In this blog, we’ll dive into 10 revitalizing microneedling aftercare tips to promote the best results within the first week after your treatment.

Let’s get started!

Why Microneedling Aftercare is Important

You may be wondering if microneedling aftercare is really all that necessary.

In most cases, YES. It is necessary if you want to see the best results and experience minimal discomfort. But, why?

To answer that question, it’s important to understand what happens to your skin after you receive a microneedling facial.

What Happens to Your Skin AFTER Microneedling?

Microneedling uses tiny needles to puncture the skin, which create micro-injuries.

After microneedling treatment is complete, your body will want to naturally heal these micro-abrasions. This is where the magic happens.

Once the healing process is triggered, your body will begin to produce more collagen and elastin, which are both vital for youthful-looking skin.

With increased collagen and elastin, along with specially formulated serums that may have been used during your microneedling procedure, your skin will experience a:

  • Thicker and tighter epidermis layer
  • Reduction in wrinkles, crows feet, and fine lines
  • Stronger skin tension
  • The less-prominent appearance of acne scars

With that being said, microneedling aftercare is extremely important for those who want to take care of their skin while it is healing and get great-looking results.

What If I Already Have a Skincare Routine?

As a health and beauty-conscious person, you might already have a skincare routine that nourishes and protects your skin. Do you need to change it?

Yes and no… it really depends on the products you use.

Here’s the problem: Not all skincare routines are good for skin that just received microneedling. Even if they are normally great for your skin, some lotions, cleansers, and beauty products may actually irritate and burn the microneedling site.

Plus, there are some other factors, like makeup, that may agitate your skin and are best for you to avoid for a couple of days after treatment.

10 Microneedling Aftercare Tips for Healthy Skin

Without further ado, here are 10 must-know microneedling aftercare tips. If you follow a microneedling aftercare routine, it will ensure you:

  • Enjoy the best skin results possible
  • Experience as little discomfort as possible
  • Encourage renewed, radiant skin

Ready to get started? Let’s dive in!

1. Protect Your Skin from the Sun

It’s no secret that UV rays damage the skin. Right after a microneedling treatment, your already sensitive skin will be at a greater risk of getting damaged and irritated if it is exposed to the sun for too long.

With that being said, you probably don’t want to plan a beach day within the first couple of days after your facial.

Furthermore, it’s best to avoid putting sunscreen all over your face, especially if your sunscreen contains chemicals and fragrances. Once your skin starts to heal and isn’t so red and sensitive, then you can apply an all-natural, chemical-free sunscreen, particularly formulas that contain zinc oxide and minimal ingredients.

2. Don’t Wear Makeup

Similar to sunscreen, it’s not a good idea to put on makeup after a microneedling treatment.

As a general rule of thumb, it’s best to avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours. And even then, your makeup should remain light for a couple of days so it doesn’t clog or irritate any of the micro-injuries created by the procedure.

Pro-Tip: If you absolutely must wear makeup, use products made from simple, organic ingredients. Believe it or not, there are MANY different types of cosmetics that are specially formulated to omit fake colors, fragrances, and chemicals that irritate the skin. Some products are 100% vegan and derived from coconut oil like this Coconut Concealer, while others are made from other sustainable products like tallow and organic beetroot powder.

3. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Did you know that your skin is made up of 64% water? Good ol’ H2O is what makes your skin look so plump and nourished! Without proper hydration, your skin will begin to appear wrinkled, dry, and aged.

Particularly after microneedling, your body will be kicking collagen and elastin production into overdrive. The healing process requires more water to function properly. Therefore, you should definitely plan to carry around your Stanley Cup full of water!

Pro-Tip: If you struggle with hydration, consider IV Therapy. This simple treatment hooks up an IV drip to your body that is FULL of essential vitamins, minerals, and H2O. It is a great way to stay hydrated and healthy.

This leads us to our next microneedling aftercare tip…

4. Boost Your Vitamin-C

Good vitamin intake is a must if you want your skin to heal beautifully from the inside out. In particular, vitamin C is a key nutrient for revitalized skin.

This vitamin is known to protect against infection, improve healing time, build up your immune system, and provide a natural glow to your skin.

You can naturally boost your vitamin-C levels by eating vitamin-C-rich foods like citrus, red peppers, and broccoli, or you can choose to take vitamin-C supplements or schedule IV Therapy.

5. Try Not to Touch Your Skin

After microneedling, your skin will be delicate. Although it might be tempting to rub or pat your face, avoid touching your skin.

Not only will persistent touching cause further agitation to your sensitive skin, but it might also disrupt the healing process. Oils and possibly other contaminants on your hands may clog pores, dry out the skin, or cause irritation.

Furthermore, do not pick at your face. It is best to leave any bumps, lines, and scars that may be present on your face alone. Give your skin a chance to relax and ‘breathe’ after treatment!

6. Use a Gentle Cleanser

ALERT: STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR AND SALT SCRUBS!????

Your face is already exfoliated enough from the microneedling procedure. It is a bad idea to use abrasive ‘cleansers’ like sugar scrubs directly on the treatment site. This may hurt your skin.

Instead, opt for a gentle cleanser that does not contain any gritty or abrasive agents intended for exfoliation.

7. Stay Away from Chemicals

Speaking of gentle cleansers, you also want to avoid any products that contain unnatural chemicals.

Chemical compounds like parabens, phthalates, and sodium laureth sulfate (SLS) are commonly found in lotions, makeup, and shampoos that may disrupt the skin’s natural healing process.

You might even want to steer away from baby oil and petroleum jelly (Vaseline), which are derived from oil and gas production. As we mentioned before, there are plenty of other cleaner options on the market like coconut oil, lye-free soap, manuka honey tallow cream, and caster oil.

This next tip goes along with the chemical-free products recommendation as well.

8. Opt for Fragrance-Free Products

Unfortunately, the U.S. market is filled to the brim with beauty products that aren’t completely safe for the skin and body.

More times than not, if a product lists ‘fragrance’ or ‘perfum’ on the ingredient label, then the product has some nasty chemicals in it that you don’t want soaking into your skin.

Especially while your skin is healing from microneedling, avoid products that contain fragrances that are NOT derived from essential oils. Some of these products may come in the form of:

  • Makeup Remover Wipes
  • Makeup Setting Spray
  • Scented Face Cleansers
  • Body Wash
  • Soaps
  • Lotions
  • Skin Care Ointments
  • Shampoos
  • Conditions

We suggest you check the ingredients label before putting any of these products near the microneedling site.

Pro-Tip: If the packaging lists ‘essential oils’ as the source of fragrance, these are usually SAFE to use. Even better if the ingredients are organic and sustainable sourced!

9. Avoid Heat

Right after your microneedling facial, you will want to avoid excessive heat for a couple of reasons.

First, heat tends to suck moisture out of your skin and dehydrates it. As we mentioned before, you want to stay hydrated while your skin is healing!

Second, sweating may cause your skin to feel hot, red, and irritated. We want to try to steer away from discomfort at the treatment site so it can relax and heal.

Hot showers, saunas, hair dryers, and excessively hot outdoor weather should be avoided for 48 hours after treatment. If you want to take a shower, make sure the temperature is lukewarm or cold.

10. Invest in a Filtered Shower Head

Last but not least, if you plan to get multiple microneedling treatments in the future, consider investing in a filtered showerhead.

Oftentimes, the water that comes out of our showers is hard. Chlorine and other contaminants may be found as it pours out of the faucet.

In particular, chlorine is known to dry out the skin, causing itching, redness, and irritation. A filtered shower head is a simple solution to combat chlorine and other irritants.

Most people find that their skin feels and looks healthier after they add a filter. Many see a big decrease in acne, skin dryness, and even hair loss!

Although this is not an absolute must-have for your microneedling aftercare, it is a great investment for all-around skin health.

After Filler Care: 10 Do’s & Don’t for Injectables

POV: You’ve just stepped out of the med spa, feeling like your best self with your fresh fillers—and you can’t wait to show off your glow. But wait! Before you start snapping selfies, remember this: the secret to keeping your filler results flawless isn’t just about the treatment itself but about after filler care. Proper aftercare isn’t just a suggestion—it’s your golden ticket to minimizing bruising, swelling, and keeping those perfectly plumped lips or contoured cheeks looking their absolute best. Think of it as protecting your investment! In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about caring for your injectables. We've got you covered from the dos and don’ts to answering common questions. By the end, you’ll feel confident in how to pamper your new look like a pro. So without further ado, let’s dive right in! What are Dermal Fillers? First, let’s break it down. Dermal fillers are the ultimate beauty pick-me-up. These injectable treatments work wonders by restoring volume, smoothing out wrinkles, and giving your features that fresh, youthful look. Made from substances like hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring compound in your skin), fillers are versatile and customizable to suit your goals. Whether you’re after plump lips, defined cheekbones, or a smoother jawline, fillers are the go-to solution for enhancing your natural beauty. Some of the most common areas treated include: Lips: for that full, luscious look. Cheeks: to restore volume and create definition. Under-eyes: to diminish dark circles and hollows. Jawline and chin: for a sharper, more sculpted profile. Think of fillers as the artistry of subtle enhancement—they don’t change who you are; they just help you look like the most radiant version of yourself. Ready to dive into the specifics? Let’s talk dos, don’ts, and everything in between. What to Avoid After Fillers: 10 Do’s and Don’ts for After Filler Care Once you’ve had your fillers, the fun doesn’t stop at the med spa—you’ve got a bit of homework to do (and avoid) to keep those results looking flawless. So, here’s the ultimate list of dos and don’ts for after filler care to help you rock your refreshed look while steering clear of complications. Do’s: 1. Stay Hydrated Hydration isn’t just great for your body—it’s essential for your fillers, too! Think of fillers as moisture magnets, working best when your skin is plump and hydrated. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day helps your fillers integrate seamlessly with your skin and boosts the longevity of your results. Plus, staying hydrated supports your body’s natural healing process, reducing swelling and enhancing your radiant glow. Pro tip: Pair your water intake with hydrating foods like cucumbers and watermelon for an added skin boost. 2. Apply a Cold Compress (Gently!) Swelling or minor bruising after fillers is completely normal, and a cold compress can work wonders to ease any discomfort. Wrap some ice in a clean cloth (no direct ice-to-skin contact) and gently apply it to the treated area for 10-15 minutes at a time. This reduces inflammation and calms redness, giving your skin the TLC it needs. Just remember: a light touch is key—don’t press or rub the area, as you could inadvertently move the filler. 3. Stick to Gentle Skincare Your skin has just undergone a little work, so now isn’t the time to bombard it with harsh products. Skip the exfoliants, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and anything else that could irritate your skin for at least 3-5 days. Instead, opt for products that soothe and hydrate, like a gentle cleanser, a hyaluronic acid serum, and a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer. If you’re unsure which products to use, your provider can recommend filler-friendly options that will enhance your results. 4. Sleep Smart Your fillers need a little beauty rest, too. For the first 1-2 nights, try sleeping on your back with your head slightly elevated—this helps minimize swelling and keeps pressure off the treated areas. If you’re a side or stomach sleeper, you might want to prop yourself with pillows to stay in position. Think of it as a small sacrifice for long-lasting, picture-perfect results. 5. Follow Your Provider’s Instructions: Finally, your injector isn’t just a filler expert—they’re your guide to achieving the best possible outcome. Be sure to follow any personalized aftercare instructions they provide, whether it’s a skincare routine or an activity restriction. If you have any concerns or unexpected side effects, don’t hesitate to reach out. Open communication with your provider ensures you stay confident and informed throughout your post-treatment journey. Don’ts: 1. Hit the Gym First, we know it’s tempting to hit the treadmill or your favorite spin class, but hold off on exercise for at least 24-48 hours. Vigorous activities like running, weightlifting, or high-intensity interval training increase blood flow, which can exacerbate swelling or lead to unwanted bruising. Stick to light, low-impact activities like walking, and save your sweat session for when your fillers have had time to settle. 2. Touch or Massage the Treated Area We get it—it’s hard to resist checking out your new look! But keep your hands off your face, as touching or massaging the treated area can disrupt the placement of the filler. Fillers need time to settle and integrate with your tissue, so let them do their thing without interference. If you experience any unusual lumps or bumps, consult your provider rather than trying to fix them yourself. 3. Drink Alcohol Unfortunately, that celebratory glass of wine will have to wait a day or two. Alcohol thins the blood, which can increase your chances of bruising and swelling. Also, it dehydrates your skin, which isn’t ideal for maintaining your fillers. Instead, toast to your refreshed look with a sparkling water or herbal tea—it’s better for your skin and your results. 4. Expose Yourself to Heat Hot environments like saunas, hot tubs, or even a sunny day at the beach can cause your fillers to shift before they’ve fully settled. Additionally, heat increases blood flow, which can lead to swelling and discomfort. For the first few days, stick to cool or room-temperature settings. It’s the perfect excuse to indulge in a relaxing, air-conditioned Netflix binge! 5. Take Blood-Thinning Medications Without Guidance As we mentioned earlier, medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain supplements (like fish oil or vitamin E) can slow down healing and worsen bruising after fillers. Unless prescribed by your doctor, avoid these for at least a few days post-treatment. If you’re unsure about a medication or supplement you’re taking, check in with your provider for personalized advice. By following these simple dos and don’ts, you’ll maximize your results and minimize downtime. Think of it as giving your fillers the VIP treatment they deserve. When you invest in your look, it’s worth doing it right. Ready to explore more after filler care tips? Keep reading! Does Pre and Post Care Really Matter? Spoiler alert: yes, it does—and big time! If you want your filler results to go from looking great to absolutely fabulous, both pre- and post-care are key. Before your appointment, simple tweaks like avoiding blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin and ibuprofen) and alcohol can significantly reduce the chances of bruising. Once your fillers are in place, your after filler care steps become your roadmap to long-lasting results. Following these guidelines can help prevent complications like swelling or filler migration (yes, that’s a thing!) and ensure everything settles exactly where it’s supposed to. The bottom line? Treating your face like the precious work of art it is doesn’t stop once you leave the spa. With a little TLC, you can enjoy your filler results for months to come. A Deeper Dive Into Common After Filler Care Questions Whether it’s your first time getting fillers or you’re a seasoned pro, questions about aftercare are totally normal. To help you feel confident and informed, we’ve answered some of the most common questions people have after their filler appointments. Can I Drink Alcohol After Fillers? While we answered this question above, it’s an important one to drive home. That being said, it’s best to skip the cocktails for at least 24 hours post-treatment. Alcohol can thin your blood, which increases the risk of bruising and swelling. Think of it as a perfect excuse to hydrate with water instead—your skin (and fillers) will love you for it! How Should I Sleep After Dermal Fillers? For the first couple of nights, try to sleep on your back with your head elevated using an extra pillow. Side sleepers, we know it’s tough—but it’s worth it! Sleeping on your back helps minimize swelling and assists in the retention of your fillers as they settle. It may be annoying for chronic side or stomach sleepers, but you’ll thank us later. Can I Wear Makeup After Fillers? You’ll want to avoid makeup for the first 24 hours to minimize the risk of irritation or infection. After that, feel free to enhance your look—just make sure to clean your brushes first! Is It Normal to Feel Lumps After Fillers? Yes, it’s completely normal to feel minor lumps or bumps in the first week or two. This is just the filler settling into place. However, if lumps persist or feel uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to contact your provider. How Soon Can I Get More Fillers if I Want Them? Patience is key! Wait at least two weeks before considering additional fillers. Moreover, this gives your current treatment time to settle so your provider can assess the results accurately. Trust 4Beauty Med Spa for Expert Care Taking care of your skin after filler treatments is just as important as the treatment itself. By following these simple tips and staying mindful of the dos and don’ts, you can ensure your results are long-lasting and beautiful. How Long Do Butt Injections Last?

Buttock injections offer a minimally invasive solution for those seeking to increase their buttock volume. This blog discusses the longevity of a non-surgical BBL to help patients considering the procedure make an informed decision. Table of Contents Enhanced Buttocks Without Surgery Buttock Injection Results How Does a Non-Surgical BBL Work? Will I Need Maintenance Treatments? Schedule Your Non-Surgical BBL Consultation in Miami, FL Today! Enhanced Buttocks Without Surgery Many people desire symmetrical, round, and voluminous buttocks. Yet, not all of us are genetically blessed with this ideal backside naturally. While squats and other glute exercises can help you gain a more shapely behind, there are limits to what exercise, diet, and natural circumstances can do for adding volume to the region. Surgical options like the Brazilian Buttock Lift can be appealing for some people, but others may be intimidated by the lengthy recovery or not feel ready to commit to that sort of procedure. Fortunately, there are non-surgical options that can produce just as beautiful results. Buttock injections, also commonly referred to as a non-surgical BBL, are a minimally invasive buttock enhancement procedure that offers an alternative to the traditional BBL. With this non-surgical approach, patients can receive fuller, rounder, and more lifted buttocks without needing to undergo liposuction and fat transfer. Buttock Injection Results The non-surgical BBL creates instant improvements that are noticeable immediately after your procedure. These results continue to develop for the first 10 weeks after the procedure, as part of the benefit of buttock injections is that they boost natural collagen production over time. As the weeks go by and your body naturally produces more collagen, you’ll see even more improvements to your buttock volume. Many patients see their full results around three to six months after buttock injection treatment. At this time, you should be able to see increased volume due to the boost in collagen. The longevity of your results will depend on what type of dermal fillers were used during your procedure and how your body reacts to the treatment. Many patients can enjoy their sculpted, voluminous buttocks for up to two to five years. How Does a Non-Surgical BBL Work? A non-surgical BBL is performed using dermal fillers to add volume to the buttocks without needing invasive surgery. At 4Beauty Medspa in Miami, our staff uses Sculptra®, RADIESSE®, Renuva®, or AlloClae™ injections for the non-surgical BBL. Sometimes the two dermal fillers are used together for patients who may benefit from this combined approach. Will I Need Maintenance Treatments? Patients interested in the non-surgical BBL may be curious about how long they can expect their results to last and if they will need maintenance treatments in the future. It is important to understand that buttock injections do not create permanent results. Like any dermal filler treatment, results are temporary, and additional treatments are often necessary to maintain your desired look. Your provider will let you know your expected timeline for follow-up maintenance treatments, and will help you design a plan that suits your aesthetic goals. Schedule Your Non-Surgical BBL Consultation in Miami, FL, Today! If you’ve been wanting a fuller, rounder backside without having to go through surgery, then a non-surgical BBL may be just what you’re looking for. Traditional BBL vs. Non-Surgical BBL: Which Is Best for You?

Traditional BBL vs. Non-Surgical BBL: Pros & Cons A traditional BBL and a non-surgical BBL have one thing in common: they both volumize your buttocks, resulting in enhanced curves and boosted confidence. However, these two cosmetic procedures go about this very differently. So, how do you know which one is right for you? In this blog post, we’re going to discuss the pros and cons of a traditional Brazilian butt lift vs. a non-surgical butt augmentation and help you decide which is best for you. Ready? Let’s dive in! What Is a Traditional BBL? A traditional BBL, otherwise known as a Brazilian butt lift, is a cosmetic procedure that involves transferring fat to your buttocks to add volume to your curves. The term ‘lift’ is a bit misleading as there is no actual lifting involved. During a BBL surgery, the surgeon will use liposuction to remove fat from your belly, hips, thighs, or other part(s) of your body, then inject the fat into the buttocks to create a more voluminous, hourglass-shaped figure. This procedure is popular and can yield excellent results, but it requires downtime and general anesthesia. Now, let’s look at what a non-surgical BBL is. What Is a Non-Surgical BBL? Real Results from a 4Beauty Med Spa client A non-surgical BBL is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that naturally enhances the appearance of your buttocks using Radiesse or Sculptra Aesthetic. Sculptra is an injectable that uses poly-L-lactic acid. When injected into your dermal layers, it kickstarts your body’s natural collagen production. While ‘collagen’ may feel like a beauty buzzword, it’s much more than this. Collagen is a protein responsible for your skin’s elasticity and can help tighten, smooth, and sculpt, making Sculptra a great option for natural butt augmentation. But is it a better option than a traditional BBL? Traditional BBL vs. Non-Surgical BBL: Pros & Cons It’s time for us to dive a little deeper into the pros and cons of a traditional BBL vs. Non-invasive butt lift procedure. First up, a traditional Brazilian butt lift. What Are the Pros & Cons of a Brazilian Butt Lift? A Brazilian butt lift is a great option for anyone looking to avoid butt implants while still enhancing their buttocks. But to determine if it’s best for you, we need to take a closer look at the pros and cons of this cosmetic surgery. Pros of a traditional BBL: One-time procedure Can contour your waist and remove fat from wherever you don’t want it Boosts confidence Can help you achieve an hourglass shape Semi-permanent results that can last over a decade Cons of a traditional BBL: 2-4 weeks of downtime No sitting or lying on your butt until the area is healed Longer recovery time Must undergo general anesthesia during surgery If you don’t have enough fat, you aren’t a good candidate for this procedure As you can see, there’s a lot to consider before you choose this operation, but it’s one that can yield great results after the initial healing phase. Let’s see how a BBL compares to a Radiesse or Sculptra butt augmentation. What Are the Pros & Cons of a Non-Invasive Butt Augmentation? Real Results from a 4Beauty Med Spa client The differentiating factor between a non-surgical BBL and a BBL is that no surgery is required, only injectables. Let’s take a closer look: Pros of a non-surgical BBL: Less than 24 hours of downtime Minimal pain and can resume all normal activity the next day Non-surgical, so no general anesthesia is required Works for patients of all sizes Stimulates the body’s natural collagen production to volumize your buttocks and gives very natural results Boosts confidence Cons of a non-surgical BBL: 2-3 sessions are recommended for optimal results Results only last 2-3 years More expensive than a BBL 7 Questions to Decide Which Procedure Is Right for You When it comes to deciding between a Brazilian Butt Lift and a Sculptra augmentation, you need to decide what’s most important to you. Is it… Cost Pain & downtime Invasiveness of procedure Length of results Real Results from a 4Beauty Med Spa Client Here are some questions you can ask yourself to finally determine if a Brazilian or a non-invasive butt lift is right for you. 1. Are you willing to undergo surgery? If your answer is a resounding ‘No!” then you’re not a good candidate for a BBL. A non-surgical butt augmentation would be a great alternative for you and still yield amazing results. 2. How long do you want your results to last? A BBL is a great choice if you’re looking for semi-permanent results (lasting as long as 10 years or more). Sculptra, on the other hand, lasts an average of 2-3 years before additional treatments are needed. However, your traditional BBL might not last as long if you gain weight. The following can affect the duration of your results: Body weight fluctuations Lifestyle and diet changes Natural effects of aging Changes in exercise and activity The skill of the surgeon 3. How much are you willing to pay? On average, a Sculptra butt lift can cost anywhere from $6,500 to $9,000 per session. Why such a big price range? Because everyone’s aesthetic goals are unique. If you’re only looking to eliminate butt dimples, otherwise known as hip dips, then you won’t need as much Sculptra. But if you’re looking for a full booty augmentation, then the cost will be on the higher end. Within the United States, a traditional BBL can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $20,000 depending on the level of skill of the surgeon, location of practice, and several other factors. However, a Brazilian butt lift can last longer than Sculptra injectables. If price is your primary concern, then focus on scheduling a consultation with a trusted practitioner to receive a custom quote for the procedure before you decide. 4. How’s your pain tolerance? Since a BBL is a cosmetic surgery, it does involve significant downtime–anywhere from 2-3 weeks. During this time, you won’t be able to sit on your buttocks comfortably until the area is fully healed. Oftentimes patients are prescribed pain medication to help manage pain. Whereas with Sculptra nonsurgical butt lifts, pain is very minimal, if present at all! 5. Are you willing to accept the risks of surgery? Injectables like Sculptra have very few risks. While bruising and soreness may occur, there are much more serious risks associated with a BBL surgery, such as: Infection Scarring Issues associated with general anesthesia Nerve damage If you already have existing health concerns or know that you don’t respond well to general anesthesia, then this invasive cosmetic procedure isn’t right for you and you should consider Sculptra. It’s best to always speak with your primary care physician before undergoing any cosmetic procedures. 6. Do you have time for downtime? If you can’t find the time to carve out 2-3 weeks of downtime for the foreseeable future, then a Brazilian butt lift isn’t plausible for you. With Sculptra, you can walk out of your appointment and resume normal activities the next day. 7. How quickly do you want to see results? Once your BBL is healed, you’ll see your full results! However, Sculptra requires 2-3 sessions over a 6-month period before you see optimal results. Main Takeaways All in all, a traditional BBL is a good option if you’re in great health and don’t mind undergoing invasive surgery to achieve semi-permanent curves. But Sculptra Butt Lift is the best option for anyone looking for a non-invasive, natural way to enhance their buttocks without pain and downtime.
